A NYC art Mecca is closing! Can’t believe it. Had to stop by one last time. #pearlpaint #nyc #artsupplies (at Pearl Paint - NYC)
It’s beginning to feel warm here in NYC! New illustration on the site today! Inspired by a visit to Belmont Park race track last spring. #illustration #horses
An illustration inspired by a trip to Belmont Park last spring.
A detail shot from Rhode Island Monthly. These spot illos are all about decluttering and donating. #springcleaning #illustration
Some invitation details. Tom and I are printing them this weekend! #lbttnyc
One thing I love about illustration is meeting other creative illustrators from other countries. Julia reached out to me about meeting up with her and her illustration/graphic designer friends while they were visiting NYC. They are from Aachen, Germany but study in the Netherlands. I loved hearing about their curriculum and work. Thank you Julia, Anna, Andreas and Tom @easyillustration for meeting up! Now I want to go visit Germany!
Honored to be on the contributors page for #rhodeislandmonthly. Amen to my grandparents knick knacks. Some of my most prized items!
I finally was home with some decent light to get a shot of my illustration in the March issue of #rhodeislandmonthly. All about #springcleaning #illustration
Starting the weekend off right with some tulips! Gotta beckon spring somehow, right? #treatyoself
Tonight felt like a full circle life moment. I read Le Petit Prince as a Senior in high school while I had a slight inclination that illustration was a potential career path for me. We read all these interesting French stories that had beautiful illustrations accompanying them. It was such an impressionable time and I am glad I was influenced by their illustrations. It was such a great night to see the original sketches by Saint-Exupery that it brought me back to that moment in time when illustration was just a blip of a future dream. #lepetitprince (at The Morgan Library & Museum)
